Hrithik Roshan visited the Mumbai Police Criminal Police Office on Saturday to record a statement in connection with his 2016 complaint about bogus emails on his behalf to Kangana Ranaut. Scroll down to find out more.
According to the summons, the war actor was seen appearing at the Crime Intelligence Unit (CIU) at the commissioner’s office at 11 a.m. He was seen sporting a black T-shirt and cap.

On Friday, Kangana Ranaut reacted to a press article on the subject on Twitter. The Thalaivi actress wrote: “Duniya kahan se kahan pahunch gayi magar mera silly ex abhi bhi waheen hai usi modh pe jahan yeh waqt dobara laut ke nahi jane wala… (The world has changed so much but my idiot ex is still caught up in the moment at which time will never return). “
Conversely, Hrithik Roshan had sent a legal opinion to his Kites co-star following a public brawl on social networks about him, calling him an “ex idiot” in 2016. In his complaint, he also alleged that someone was pretending to be him and emailing Kangana from a fake email id in his name.
While he even denied having any relationship with Kangana and he claimed that the actress had sent hundreds of absurd emails. A first investigation was carried out in which the actress recorded a statement with the police. In her statement, she denied sending emails to Hrithik.
A case was registered under section 419 (cheating by impersonation) of the IPC and sections 66C (identity theft), 66D (cheating by personalization using computer resources) of the Law on information technology was recorded against an unknown person at the cyber police station.
