The movie had some epic scenes that made us laugh out loud even today. Fans on Twitter recalled these scenes by sharing them with # 21YearsHeraPheri.

Iconic dialogues from Raju, Ghanshyam and Baburao – they have kept us entertained throughout these years.

Later in 2006, the makers released the second installment in the franchise named Phir Hera Pheri and fans were desperately waiting for the third installment now.

According to a Bollywood Hungama report, “Producer Firoz Nadiadwala spoke with Akshay Kumar for Hera Pheri 3. Akshay decided to join us, but he had two conditions. First, he wanted Dream Girl (2019) director Raaj Shaandilyaa to direct the film. He felt that Raaj knew how to handle a comedic masala hug and that was evident with his first film. Second, Akshay asked for 70% profit sharing. “

He also adds: “Firoz Nadiadwala refused, however, due to the second condition. Raaj Shaandilyaa also humbly declined as he knew Hera Pheri was an iconic franchise and he believed he wouldn’t be able to do it justice.
