Mahima Chaudhry has been away from the big screen for a while. The 47-year-old actress has done an outstanding job in the Bollywood industry, including films like Pardes, Dil Hai Tumhaara, Daag: The Fire and Baghban to name a few. In a recent interview, Mahima revealed that she had an accident in the 90s and that it was Ajay Devgn and his wife Kajol who helped her with the best treatment.
It was the last day of filming “Dil Kya Kare” in Bangalore when she was on her way to the scene and encountered a career threatening accident.
During a conversation with Bollywood Bubble, Mahima Chaudhry revealed that the accident did not break any bones but left her face with a scarred face. “The glass came like bullets in my face,” the Pardes actress revealed.
Mahima then revealed that while she recovered from the crash, she had no hope of returning to the industry and was living a life beyond the cinema. It was Ajay Devgn who turned out to be one of the producers of the film who gave him great support.
Mahima Chaudhry added: “When I had my accident, they came to the set when nobody was allowed, and they took a picture… And they wrote ‘Mahima had an accident, and she has scars. on his face, we can finally call him scarface ”. It still hurts me. How mean can you be?
The Pardes actress added, “Ajay and Kajol, who were my producers, made sure no one in the industry knew about it. At that point, it would have devastated my career.
In fact, to make her feel better, Ajay Devgn would show the actress her own scars and say, “He was a very generous producer. He took care of everything; send me to the right doctors and make sure I get the best treatment. He said, “No, no, you are not doing this treatment in Bangalore. I’ll take you to Bombay, I’ll send you to the best ”.”
It’s really a bit Ajay Devgn and Kajol.
