Hollywood star Gwyneth Paltrow confesses to eating pasta and alcohol after having Covid and blames her for her weight gain.
Paltrow has a long history of battling Covid, where symptoms last for weeks or months after the infection clears. She said: “I have noticed over the past two years that my metabolism is slowing down. I know this is largely perimenopause.
Gwyneth Paltrow added, “I’m 48 and I know women tend to lose up to 30 percent of their metabolic rate once we get into this phase of life and so on. So I know that’s part of it. “I think maybe it’s because I have Covid. My doctor in New York said it affected many of his patients’ metabolisms as well.
Gwyneth Paltrow continued, “What I really noticed was the flashback I had – you know if I put on weight and wasn’t happy I could eat really well very quickly. for a few days, get plenty of exercise and you would be gone.
The actress said she had no plans to eat after contracting the virus. “I gained a lot of weight compared to Covid. Covid happened and I didn’t follow my diet. I was just like having booze and pasta all the time and then I kind of hit a wall, ”she explained.
Despite gaining weight, she lost 4.9 pounds after eating bone broth for a week, reports femalefirst.co.uk.
