Gold Medal Paralympic Athlete for Team USA – Deadline

Nick Springer, Paralympic medalist for the US team and son of entertainment publicist Gary Springer, died Wednesday, April 14. No cause of death was given, but his disappearance was described as “sudden”.

Springer graduated in May 2010 from Eckerd College in St. Petersburg, Fla., And has spent the last few years consulting Novartis, as well as the international pharmaceutical company GSK. He has traveled in the United States and abroad, speaking to health officials, educational organizations and others about the need for a meningitis vaccine, as well as his journey of survival and his life and its joy of living.

He was also a spokesperson for the National Meningitis Association (of which his mother was a co-founder) and honorary chair of the NMA’s annual gala, “Give Kids A Shot”.

Survivors include Father Gary and his partner, Elizabeth, sister Oliva and husband Kevin, and one-year-old nephew Jackson, as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins ​​and friends. His mother, Nancy Springer, died before him.
