Gold House Reveals 2021 Most Influential Asians List – Deadline

Gold House, the non-profit collective of founders, creative voices and leaders of Asia and Pacific Islanders, has unveiled its annual A100 list, honoring the most impactful Asians and Asians Americans and Pacific Islanders (APIs) in the world. culture.

Newly-established and Oscar-winning Vice President Kamala Harris, Chloe Zhao Shang-Chi and the legend of the ten rings Star Simu Liu and director Destin Daniel Cretton are among the names on the list that is revealed each May as part of Asian-American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month. The winners span the globe in fields such as activism, advocacy and politics, business and finance, entertainment, lifestyle, media and journalism, sports and health and technology and innovation.

Other big names in entertainment and media to make the list unveiled on Monday are Bela Bajaria, head of Netflix at Global TV, Ramsey Naito, chairman of Nickelodeon Animation, Eric S Yuan, founder of Zoom, tennis champion Naomi Osaka, CBS News White House Correspondent Weijia Jiang, Grammy Award Winners HER and Anderson .Paak and K-pop Freaks Blackpink, Actors Riz Ahmed, Auli’i Cravalho, Gemma Chan, Kelly Marie Tran and Olivia Munn , SNLBowen Yang and Los Angeles Dodgers manager Dave Roberts to name a few.

The winners of the A100 – the people who have had the most impact within their respective industry over the past year – come from a public nomination process led by other Asian nonprofits and the Gold House membership base, with seats determined by vote.
