Get great b-roll with this tiny action camera
From underwater shots to BTS shots, this tiny camera gives you options.
Weighing almost an ounce and about the size of a thumb, that is Insta360 Go 2 could be the perfect action camera for your toolkit. This small and powerful action camera is all you need to shoot fast and on the go.
We took a look at the Insta360 Go 2 during its release earlier this year, so check out the full specs in this post! But what unique things can you do with the camera?
Insta360’s second generation Go camera offers higher quality footage and allows you to take this camera with you almost anywhere. The case also serves as a navigation tool for the settings of the camera and can be transformed into a tiny tripod. When filming with the action camera in your home base, the battery life can be up to 150 minutes compared to the 30 minutes of the camera alone.
Because the Go 2 is smaller than the average little finger, the camera can reach angles that normal or conventional cameras cannot. Daniel Schiffer was able to capture a shot of a bagel going into a toaster by sticking the action camera into the disconnected toaster.

The Insta360 app provides a preview of your recording, a toolbar for changing camera settings, and a monitor for viewing the playback of your footage. The only downside to using the Insta360 app and Pro Video mode at the same time is that the camera’s battery drains pretty quickly.
The camera has a wide-angle lens that emulates shots similar to a probe lens shot, but at a significantly lower price.
It also has a magnetic back that makes it easy to attach to its accessories. This is a great option for creative shots – slap the camera on a knife for a unique perspective, ride it on your bike, or maybe use it as a safe and easy car mount. You can also clip it directly to your t-shirt or hat and keep your hands free for POV shots. The Go 2 has a built-in stabilizer and horizon lock function that creates level and stable images.
This camera is priced at $ 299.99.
This is the smallest action camera on the market right now, and a great portable camera for any filmmaker. Whether you’re using it for a BTS on a project, filming an action sport, or making a movie with the Go 2, you can make sure the footage is better than an iPhone but not as good as a professional camera.
