EXCLUSIVE: Gemma Arterton (Their best) and Jason Tobin (warrior) will direct the cast of the comedy Enter the dragons for Oscar nominated director Marjane Satrapi (Radioactive, Persepolis), with the film being set this summer in the UK.
Set in the small English town of Coalshaw in 1979, the film follows Gloria Grimshaw (Gemma Arterton). All she can hope for in life is to sell cosmetics and have a baby, but when the tight-knit community of women is threatened, Gloria is forced to stand up for herself – learning martial arts from Hao (Tobin) for Chinese take out.
As Gloria begins to take control of her life, her friends notice this transformation and want to join us. Soon, women of all ages learn to fight with Gloria and Hao, becoming the “ Dragons of Coalshaw ” and using their newfound skills to stand up. to the men of their life.

The screenplay was written by Joy Wilkinson (Doctor Who), the producers are Cassandra Sigsgaard of Jeva Films and Jessica Malik, Jessica Parker and Gemma Arterton of Rebel Park Productions.
WestEnd will present the film to buyers in the virtual European film market.
