The fidgetcube announced last year that the CinemaCon exhibition film distribution conference, originally scheduled for April 26-29, 2021 in Las Vegas, would take place from August 23-26, 2021.
The National Association of Theater Owners announced Friday that all major studios are on board for the upcoming event at Caesars Palace’s Colosseum. After a year without cinemas, studios – and moviegoers – seem very ready to put their butt back in the seats.
The list of presenters for the August conference – which celebrates its 10th anniversary this year – includes Disney, Warner Bros., Universal, Sony, Paramount, MGM / UA, Lionsgate and Focus Features.

Las Vegas is currently preparing for its first major convention in over a year. The World of Concrete show will take place June 7-10 at the Las Vegas Convention Center.
This show will operate as previously agreed upon, maintaining 80% capacity and with three feet social distancing. Temperature controls, hand sanitizing stations, and extra-wide aisles will all be in place. However, no proof of vaccination will be required.
NATO is also aware of the moving target of pandemic security protocols.
“Coming out of what we know will be an incredibly important and successful summer season at the box office,” the organization said in a statement, “we look forward to welcoming everyone to Caesars Palace in Las Vegas in August. We continue to monitor the Covid-19 situation from a global perspective. Our priority is to create a safe environment for all participants, following the health and safety protocols established by the State of Nevada and the City of Las Vegas. “
