Hollywood star Elizabeth Olsen says she once thought about changing her last name and distance herself from family success because it was crazy growing up in the limelight.
“It was madness. There were times my sisters were always spotted and I would be in the car with them and that really scared me. It has helped me understand how I want to approach my career, ”said the actress, whose older sisters are Mary-Kate Olsen and Ashley Olsen.
Elizabeth Olsen added that she “always had this need to prove to everyone around me that I work very hard,” adding: “I couldn’t walk into a room without everyone already having an opinion. “
Elizabeth Olsen opened up about fears of nepotism.
“The problem with nepotism is the fear of not winning or of deserving the job. There was even a part of me when I was a little girl that thought if I had to be an actress I would go through Elizabeth Chase, which is my middle name. And then once I started working I was like, ‘I love my family, I love my name, I love my sisters. Why would I be so ashamed of this? It’s okay now, ”she said.
Elizabeth Olsen said the fame made her a homebody.
“The fame has also made me someone who’s more homey than I might like to be, but I know where not to go. If I could do whatever I wanted for the day I would start at the gym and then go to the grocery store because that’s my favorite thing, ”Elizabeth told The Sun.
