Prabhas has come a long way in his career after his Baahubali stint. Although he has always been a big face in the Telugu industry, the actor now enjoys a national fandom, probably more compared to some of the big Bollywood stars. So, it’s pretty obvious, the actor walks away with big paychecks for his job. And for Salaar, he would charge a “next level” sum!
Yes, according to some reports that are making rounds, the Baahubali star is charging up to 100 crore for his next one with Prashanth Neel. To some, the sum seems unreal but the reports are compelling, the actor enjoys a pan-Indian appeal. Conversely, even his below average film like Saaho broke all records.
A source close to the actor said: “Prabhas is the only Indian actor today who is able to order this kind of remuneration. Rs 100 crore is absolutely justified for him since he earns a lot more for his producers with each film. It attracts the public and therefore the economy fully supports it, ”reports India Today.
Although no authoritative person has spoken of Prabhas’ fees for Salaar (expect this to be a secret even after the movie is released) we think the actor is definitely one of the biggest crowd shooters in India. So, deserves such a type of compensation.
Apart from Salaar, actor Darling will be seen in Radhe Shyam which also stars Pooja Hegde, Sachin Khedekar, Murali Sharma and Bhagyashree. The film is directed by Radha Krishna Kumar and is due out on July 30, 2021 and faces off against Gangubai Kathiawadi by Alia Bhatt.
Prabhas also has magnum opuses, Adipurush, in her pussy. He will face Saif Ali Khan for the first time there. The film is scheduled for release on August 11, 2022.
