“Disney did not agree, there was red tapism”

Pritam reveals the reason behind Jagga Jasoos’ unreleased music and here’s what he said! (Photo credit: Facebook / Pritam, IMDb)

Six. This is the number of tracks we saw in Jagga Jasoos’ final album, composed by Pritam. The musical Ranbir Kapoor, Katrina Kaif was appreciated by a particular section of the population. True to his genre, Pritam has composed a handful of songs complementing various sequences.

Why didn’t they get to the final album? A group of music enthusiasts have been searching for an answer to this until now. It appears that the film’s production company, Walt Disney Pictures India, is responsible for this.

Ranbir Kapoor’s Picture Shuru Entertainment has teamed up with Disney for Jagga Jasoos. Although Music Director Pritam has since posted all of the tracks to his YouTube channel, it would have been a treat for any fan to get them with the album.

While appreciating the work of his co-musician Arijit Singh at Pagglait, he opened up about the Jagga Jasoos fiasco. He tweeted, “I was so keen to put Jagga Jasoos’ musicals into the public domain, but Disney didn’t agree. There were so many legal issues and such tapism that it frustrated me. “

He also added that it remains to be regretted and said: “It remains a great regret in my heart. Double kudos to Arijit and Guneet for making this possible. “

Regarding Arijit’s work, he said: “I am so happy to see Ariijit compose his first film album. Very proud of himself and wish him every success in his new journey. And I love movie producer Guneet for starting a new trend of giving the creator the musical rights to exploit the movie, instead of selling it for a pittance to an audio company. Hope this is a new start for the music industry.
Well done to @guneetm and Arijit. “
