Disney + ‘Big Shot’ series suspends production after positive Covid-19 test – Deadline
Filming on the next Disney + series Big beanie with John Stamos was suspended for 10 days. The decision was made last week after a positive Covid-19 test was produced as part of regular screening. I heard that the affected person was in zone 1 on the set.
The positive result triggered guidelines set by the state / county and outlined in Disney’s production manual, including contact tracing. People who were in the vicinity of the Covid-positive person have been asked to quarantine themselves. This includes star Stamos, who wrote about the experience on Twitter last Friday.
“My son went to bed last night crying and woke up crying because he can’t be with his dad,” Stamos said. “I’m grateful to have a job, it’s a privilege right now. I have been exposed to the virus for the third time and have to isolate again for 10 days! “
Stamos then pleaded with the public to heed the health guidelines.
“I feel my job is to do what he can to keep us safe. But folks, please follow the rules – your actions affect so many more lives than yours. “
Before that, Big beanie halted production for a day in November due to a test result that was ultimately considered a false positive.

Brad Garrett, who pitched the original idea to Kelley, is an executive producer of the hour-long comedy-drama, as is Kelley frequent collaborator Bill D’Elia, who directed the first episode.
