For fans of The Big Bang Theory, this is an eternal sitcom saga that they can never get bored of. The 12-season show started in 2007 and ran successfully through 2019. Then a spin-off series called Young Sheldon started in 2017 and has 4 seasons so far.

Today we bring you an interesting Big Bang Theory trivia that you don’t want to miss.

All fans of the series know how integral group meals were to the lives of the characters in the series. They all got together and enjoyed the food. How can anyone forget how extremely sensitive Sheldon was about Pizza Thursday?

But you’d be wrong if you thought that all the food they once had was just a prop. No, it was not! Instead, it was real food. According to IMDB, their prop master previously aspired to be a chef and used to lovingly cook every meal seen on The Big Bang Theory.

Isn’t that astonishing?

In 2018, Kaley Cuoco who played Penny on the show herself took to Instagram and shared a few BTS videos. In the videos, The Big Bang Theory crew can be seen having meals together. Along with the video, the actress wrote, “If you’ve ever wanted to know what goes on during our ‘dinner’ scenes, here are two videos that show the before and after. I always give up on lunch if I know we’re shooting a catering scene like this lol when you watch the brand new episode of TONIGHT @bigbangtheory_cbs you will know I was pretty happy with it. Notice our team cleans the props and throws things out. The cast moves forward with their day. The scene is over. I am wrapped up. It’s time to go home. 🍲🥟🍱🍚 (FYI, this food had been eaten, touched and worked all day. We keep all the food and give all the leftovers not eaten at the end of the shooting days) ”

Why are we suddenly hungry? And you too?
