Dhanush, Mahesh Babu, Mohanlal express happiness at winning national awards: Bollywood News

Nation Film Awards hosted the much-delayed awards ceremony to applaud the 2019 performances! Actor-filmmaker Dhanush won his second national award in the best actor category for his performance in Asuran in 2019. He shared the award with Manoj Bajpayee who won the award for best actor for Bhonsle. “I woke up to the incredible news of having been honored with the prestigious National Award for ASURAN. Winning one award for best actor is a dream, winning two is nothing short of a blessing. I never imagined I would go this far, ”Dhanush wrote in his statement.

“Vetri, I never thought when I met you at Balu Mahendra sir’s office that you would become a friend, companion and brother. I’m so proud of the four films we worked on together and the two films we produced together. I am very happy that you have chosen to believe in me so much and I have chosen to believe in you. Now I can’t wait to hear what you wrote for me next. A big hug, ”he added.

Thanking his co-stars Manju Warrier, Ken Karunas and TeeJay Arunasalam and his fans, he added. “I sincerely thank the NATIONAL AWARD Jury for this AA award, I thank my producer Thanu monsieur for all his support. I thank the whole ASURAN team in particular my family my dear Pachaiyarnma Manju, my Chidambaram Ken and my Murugan Teejay. Thank you GV for ‘Vaa Asura, the bloodbath song. “

At the 67th National Film Awards, Mahesh Babu’s Maharshi won two awards: the award for best popular film providing healthy entertainment and the award for best choreography. Expressing his happiness, he wrote: “Honored and honored to have received this prestigious recognition !! #Maharshi will always be special. Mohanlal Star Marakkar Arabikadalinte Simham won the award for Best Feature Film, Best Special Effects and Best Costume at the 2019 National Film Awards. He dedicated the award to the Indian Navy. Sharing photos from the celebration, the actor wrote: “My sincere thanks to everyone who supported. I join @aashirvadcine in celebrating and dedicating it to the glory of #IndianNavy.”

Director Priyadarshan also expressed his joy at securing several victories.
