EXCLUSIVE: JuVee Productions by Viola Davis and Julius Tennon directed the comedy Unf $?% Ables (working title) at Hulu for development.
Co-written by Jeremy Hsu (Jimmy Kimmel Live) loosely inspired by his own experiences, Unf $?% Ables takes place in the world of dating.

The co-executive of Hsu produces. John Strauss (David made the man) co-writes with Hsu and serves as executive producer and showrunner. Davis, Tennon and Andrew Wang are the executive producers of JuVee Prods. ABC Signature is the studio.

Unf $?% Ables stems from JuVee’s global agreement with ABC Signature. As part of this pact, JuVee also developed the comedy Black does not crack, which recently received a pilot order from ABC.
Written by Regina Hicks, Black don’t crack revolves around three sorority sisters (Sherri Shepherd, Essence Atkins, Tisha Campbell) who lost touch after college and reunited at a pivotal time in their lives.

Founded in 2011 by Viola Davis and Julius Tennon, JuVee Prods. currently has a first look film and television deal with Amazon Studios. Award-winning documentary from Juvee Give voice recently premiered on Netflix. JuVee is executive producer on Showtime’s The First Lady. Viola Davis stars as Michelle Obama in the anthology series, currently in production. JuVee is replaced by CAA, the Lasher Group, and lawyer James M. Feldman of Lichter Grossman Nichols.
Strauss Executive Produces Peabody Prize Winning Series David made the man, which airs on OWN and airs on HBO Max. He previously worked on Amazon Mozart in the jungle.
