Steven Soderbergh is back baby!
Every day I thank God that Soderbergh never retired. He came back with a lot of interesting and challenging films. I think we are lucky to have a creator like this riffing today.
His new film is called No sudden movement and follows a Group of petty criminals hired to steal emerging auto technology. Her plan goes horribly wrong and takes her through the race-torn, rapidly changing city of Detroit in 1955. The film stars Don Cheadle, Benicio del Toro, David Harbor, Ray Liotta, Jon Hamm, Brendan Fraser, Kieran Culkin, Amy Seimetz, and Julia Fuchs.
Check out the HBO Max trailer.
No sudden movement starts online on July 1st. You can stream it on HBO Max, where Soderbergh released his last movie. He becomes a huge fan of this live broadcast system and I love having instant access to his stories.
No sudden movement will have its world premiere at the Tribeca film festival on 06/18/2021. So catch it there or catch it when it hits HBO Max!
