Gaalis (swear words) are a form of expression and a different language too. Many people who use this language as a means of expression and to get their thoughts across, there are things that cannot be expressed without Gaalis. In fact, there are people around me who use them regularly and I never mind. It’s a feeling and I think we shouldn’t be judging people for it. What I mean is also that I have stabbed someone before. They never objected to this so why do you have a problem now with Gaalis when I’ve already killed people on screen (in Gupt), ”Kajol said when we asked her about some of the backlash over the curses her character uttered in Netflix’s Tribhanga. After reflecting on the reasons for some of the negative reactions that have emerged, Kajol added, “I’m telling you honestly, I understand where they are coming from, what they are thinking because the love they have for you is so intense and pure. that in a very strange way we are put on a pedestal. So, yeah, when we do things like that, I can understand where they come from, where they think no, we didn’t like it.
