‘Big Brother’ and ‘Love Island’ return together in July – Deadline

CBS will have Big Brother and Love island Together again.

The network set a premiere on Wednesday July 7 for the reality TV pair, revealed by Big Brother host Julie Chen Moonves and Love island animate Arielle Vandenberg in a chat on the lively Clubhouse social media app.

Big Brother will return at 8 p.m. with a 90-minute episode followed by a 90-minute premiere of Love island at 9:30 p.m.

CBS Senior Vice President, Alternative Programming, Mitch Graham recently told Deadline, “I’m so excited Big brother more in motif this summer combined with Love Island, it’s a good solid and solid punch for the program. It gives us lots of hours, lots of content and hopefully we can use each of these shows to nurture each other. “

Last year, due to the Covid pandemic, the second season of Love island was forced to premiere at the end of August. Its first season premiered in early July. Likewise, Big Brother premiered in August last season rather than its traditional June bow.

Big Brother enter her 23rd season and starting July 11 will air on Sundays and Wednesdays at 8 p.m. with a live eviction show on Thursday. Chen Moonves has revealed that the Big Brother house will be known this year as the BB Beach Club.

Love island is heading into its third season in Hawaii, rather than Fiji in its first season or Las Vegas in its second season. After its premiere, it will air Thursday and Friday at 9 p.m. and Sunday at 9 p.m. for its first week, then it will air Tuesday through Friday and Sunday for the remainder of the season.

Vandenberg revealed during the conversation that the home in Hawaii was previously a vacation home rented by Justin Bieber.
