Shubhangi Atre, or Angoori bhabhi of “Bhabiji Ghar By Hain!“, Celebrate a birthday in isolation this year on Sunday. The actress is fighting Covid-19 and most of her celebrations will be via video calls.

“Even last year, I enjoyed my birthday in lockdown. This year will be another experience. Since I live in isolation in my bedroom and talk to my family on video calls, the birthday could be the same. But I know my man (refers to her husband Piyush Poorey), he just can’t stay calm when it’s my day! Shubhangi told IANS

Updating his health, Shubhangi Atre added, “I’m on the mend, rather better. At first I had almost all of the symptoms, including sore throat, cough, fever, and body aches. I have lost my sense of smell and taste. “

Asked whether living in isolation is boring or depressing, Shubhangi Atre replied, “My father says if we are mentally strong and happy we can fight anything in life. So I try to stay happy. I watch my shows “Bhabhiji…”, “Kasturi” and “Do Hanso Ka Jodaa” to relive my old days. Plus, during work days, I have less time to sleep, so I sleep just as well! “

Opening up on his popularity as an Angoori bhabhi, Shubhangi Atre said, “I am blessed. The most amazing thing is that the show connects to all age groups. I’m happy to be a part of the show. When I started I was very nervous but today I am proud because the public accepted me with so much love!

“Now people know me mostly because Bhabhiji and Shubhangi are lost somewhere. I am not at all similar to my character on the screen. The show allows me to experience something new and challenges me as an actor. It’s funny! ”Shubhangi Atre summed up.
