Remember last year when the production decided to do a rerun of iconic shows like Ramayan and Mahabharat. Here we are talking about the iconic work of Ramanand Sagar and BR Chopra which is still relevant today and will continue for generations to come. Dipika Chikhlia who played Sita in Ramayan made a big announcement on her Instagram revealing that we will be able to see the show’s rerun again this year.
The current situation in the country is not excellent. With the rapid increase in COVID-19 cases, daily shooting of soaps and movies must be discontinued.
Revealing the good news on her Instagram, Dipika Chikhlia who played the iconic role of Sita on the show wrote: “So excited to share that Ramayan will be showing on small screens again this year! Ramayan aired during the lockdown last year and it looks like history is repeating itself. The show has been a big part of not only my life but thousands of Indian families for years. Come be part of our community and share the knowledge of Ramayan with generations to come. Log on to Star Bharat every day at 7:00 p.m. to watch Ramanand Sagar’s ‘Ramayan’.
Whoa, that’s great news!
In 2020, BARC’s ratings for the rerun of Ramayan and Mahabharat received a huge response from viewers.
