Since actor Sushant Singh Rajput died under mysterious circumstances in June of last year, an NCB investigation into drug use in Bollywood has been underway. According to a recent report, the Narcotics Control Bureau raided Goa and a peddler with ties to the actor was taken into custody.

ANI took to Twitter some time ago and said the NCB arrested a drug dealer who supplied drugs to Sushant Singh Rajput. The news agency wrote on the microblogging site: “Three people, including one who supplied drugs to the late Bollywood actor, the late Sushant Singh Rajput, were arrested by NCB in Goa: Sameer Wankhede, Bureau Narcotics Control Department, Mumbai.
An official from the Narcotics Control Bureau was quoted by IANS as saying, “We arrested a Maharaj Shah from Miramar in Panaji and two foreign nationals in connection with our raids.”
Earlier, ANI revealed that NCB Mumbai officials were carrying out raids in several places in Goa. During the raids, the agency said a massive amount of drugs had been recovered and some hawkers were taken into custody. The BCN is expected to issue an official statement later today regarding the simultaneous raids that have been carried out by the central agency since Sunday.
Regarding the death of actor Sushant Singh Rajput and the drug angle, many Bollywood figures have been polled by the NCB. While actresses like Deepika Padukone, Sara Ali Khan, Rakul Preet Singh and others have been called repeatedly to record their statement, the late actor’s girlfriend, actress Rhea Chakraborty has been put behind bars. .
