AR Rahman’s 99 songs will have their digital premiere on Netflix that day: Bollywood News

AR Rahman who became a producer and co-writer with the film 99 songs, Wednesday, announced the digital premiere of the film. He announced that the film will air on Netflix starting May 21. The film first hit theaters on April 16.

The film which aired in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu is being shown in all three languages ​​on the streaming giant from May 21. In making the announcement, AR Rahman took to his Twitter account and shared links to the trailer in all three languages. “Here’s the ad that will lighten your mood. # 99 The songs will air on Netflix from May 21, ”he tweeted.

99 songs also marks the debut of actors Ehan Bhat and Edilsy Vargas. The film is directed by debutant Vishwesh Krishnamoorthy, who worked as a commercial filmmaker before Rahman offered to direct his production. Vishwesh is also a known musician for the Mumbai-based group Scribe.

The film’s world premiere was held at the 24th Busan International Film Festival in Busan, South Korea in 2019.
