Aputure’s popular lighting certification course is back

Enhance your lighting game with Aputure.

When it comes to lighting, you can never learn enough. Whether you are a beginner or have a few dozen credits under your belt, you can benefit from continuing education. Now the popular lighting company has returned with its Aputure Lighting certification seminar.

You’re probably wondering if it’s free. Yes. It’s completely free and will take place via various livestreams from Los Angeles to Tokyo.

Here are the details, straight from Aputure.

What is Aputure Lighting Certification (ALC)?

In 2020, when everyone was forced to close their doors amid the pandemic, Aputure wanted to find a way to give back. Since everyone was motivated to use their time, they decided to help, give away some lights and teach the Aputure family how to become Aputure experts.

They ran live streams for four weeks and sent out over 1000 M9s, MCs and MXs to users who passed our quizzes and the most recent ALC test. Now they’re bringing it back with even more time zones and more languages.

When do you stream

This year they will be expanded to include additional regions and languages. You will be streaming live from six offices and time zonesincluding Los Angeles, Tokyo, Shenzhen, Singapore, Sao Paulo and Christchurch and five languages, including English, Japanese, Mandarin, Portuguese, and Spanish so anyone around the world can participate.

A more detailed schedule can be found in the table at the end of this document.

What is the livestream about?

The schedule for 2021 consists of two weeks of live streams. In the first week, you will discuss all new products released from April 2020 to June 2021. In the second week, you will discuss the entire Aputure and Amaran product line.

Tests and prices

After each livestream in week 1, viewers can take a short quiz with 30 questions to test their knowledge. Users who pass this test will receive a free M9, courtesy of Aputure.

In week 2, viewers will see information for the current Aputure Lighting Certification Test for 2021. Members of the Aputure family who pass this 100-question test are not only eligible for, but also receive, a LinkedIn ALC 2021 badge a free MC RGBWW mini LED light.

Since the last ALC in 2020, the company has released over 20 new products. The R&D team has worked hard and would like to offer everyone an opportunity to find out about the latest innovations and maintain their status as Aputure experts.

The LinkedIn ALC 2021 Badge also includes a link to a webpage that lists the products that Certificate Holders are familiar with.

Aputure users who do best on the 100-question ALC test also get a chance at one MC 12 light production kit, with the winner being randomly selected from the percentile with the highest score.
