EXCLUSIVE: UTA has signed producer and former FBI Special Agent Anne Beagan for all-round representation.
Beagan founded Dark Pictures with Mindhunter executive producer Jennifer Erwin. The organization, named after the grim images used by FBI investigators in their cases, has a list of 15 projects in development, ranging from FBI affairs to action thrillers and female-led stories and minorities based on real crimes.
She also runs Anne Beagan Productions, which she founded a year after retiring from the FBI.
She has been a consultant and advisor to the FBI on a number of projects, including FBI: Most Wanted, FBI and Inside the FBI: New York.
Beagan worked in the FBI’s New York public affairs office as an entertainment industry liaison, where for over a decade she managed long-running projects including feature films, television series, documentaries, books and magazine articles. Previously, she was the Special Events Coordinator in the Joint Task Force on Terrorism after working in the Criminal Division of the New York Field Office, where she investigated white collar crime, crimes against children, human rights. civilians and violent / serious offenders, among other violations.
She will continue to be represented by Vigliano Associates and lawyer Christian Simonds at Reed Smith.
