Amitabh Bachchan revealed on Monday that filming his upcoming movie MayDay took him to the same location where he shot iconic scenes from the Bollywood classic Deewar 42 years ago.
“Look back in time… see that arch in the stone building at the back… in a shadow loop… Policeman Shashi Kapoor shoots his brother Vijay in DEEWAR at this location in the movie… today on the train to shoot in the same location for MAYDAY… 42 years later… Deewar did in 1979 until now 2021… It’s been a long time, ”he wrote on Instagram, with a lot of him on hand for his next project.
The iconic actor also took to his official blog to revisit his memories of working on Deewar.
“The works of Mayday’s day … the place of several and the most memorable in the arch in the back in the architecture, the ball in the back, the brother, the temple of the Mother, death and the most beautiful writes… so a lot of the past and always the, ”he said.
MayDay reunites Big B and Ajay Devgn, who have worked together at Major Sahab, Khakee, Satyagraha and Hindustan Ki Kasam. The film sees the two stars collaborating more than seven years after the release of Satyagraha in August 2013.
