Acting in movies is a risky business and sometimes scenes can go wrong, especially for an action scene. Bollywood actors have often performed their roles to the best of their ability and in doing so can end up hurting a co-actor trying to express a fit of rage. A similar situation occurred on the Muqaddar Ka Sikandar plateaus.
Amitabh Bachchan in his blog expressed his observations and emotions towards the late actor Vinod Khanna. Recalling an incident from his film Muqaddar Ka Sikandar, the veteran actor accidentally injured Vinod Khanna while filming a scene from the film.
In the scene, the Big B character must have thrown a drink at the late actor angrily, but the glass hit him in the face and it wasn’t meant to. The glass cut his chin and the Chandini actor was bleeding profusely. Amitabh immediately took Vinod Khanna to the hospital and also accompanied him to his home to make sure he was okay.
Amitabh Bachchan in his blog wrote: “This guilting incident when I had to throw a drink at him in a scene and he accidentally hit his chin, slitting it open to the teeth… regret and guilt in I have an appointment for this merciless accident… rush him to his doctor, late at night, have him sewn up, drive him home to put him in and continue to apologize for this horrible accidental slip… ”
