These are and were hard to come by and when I got no immediate source to acquire them, my friend and the Indian consul in Wroclaw took a step forward, ”Bachchan wrote in his latest blog post, Thursday evening. .
Amitabh Bachchan further wrote: “… He came to the knowledge of my work in purchasing concentrators and came out with the name and details of a Polish company which manufactured them and which was exported to various parts of the world. , and if that could be one of the sources of my need. I immediately placed an order for 50 oxygen concentrators, which were blocked for me by him, because the equipment was in short supply and was being manufactured and sold quite quickly. So I bought 50 concentrators and they will be shipped on May 15th.
“The oxygen concentrators have also been ordered from another source and about 60 of them are expected to arrive in a few days,” he said in his blog post.
Amitabh Bachchan also wrote about donating ventilators to BMC.
Bachchan said in his blog post: “Then the need for ventilators was just as acute. BMC, Brihan Mumbai Municipal Corporation, when I said I wanted to donate for the cause, told me not to donate money, but to get them fans. It was also a tough task, but luckily another agency stepped forward and is helping me with my order. I had ordered 20 ventilators, 10 of which arrived today and I am glad I was able to deliver them today to BMC and a few municipal hospitals in Mumbai. The 10 balance should be reached by the 25th and they will also be distributed to other hospitals in need. “
