Actor Amitabh Bachchan posted an interesting anecdote about his 1975 film “Chupke Chupke” as the film wrapped up 46 years of release on Sunday.
The superstar, who played an English professor Sukumar in the comedy film, has revealed that the house used in the film to shoot some scenes is now his current residence in Mumbai, Jalsa.
Amitabh took to Instagram on Sunday as he shared a fascinating fact from the film.
Amitabh Bachchan uploaded a still image from the film and captioned it as follows: “Chupke Chupke” our Hrishikesh MUKERJI film .. closes today at 46 .. !! This house you see in the picture is the home of producer NC Sippy .. we bought it, then sold, then bought back .. rebuilt .. this is our home now JALSA !! Many films have been shot here. Anand, NamakHaram, Chupke Chupke, Satte pe Satta and many more. “
Besides Amitabh Bachchan, the film also starred Dharmendra, Sharmila Tagore, Asrani, Jaya Bachchan and Om Pakash in key roles.
