Accsoon CineEye 2S Pro offers 1200 feet of wireless video with SDI support

Accsoon has introduced a new wireless video system in CineEye 2S Proand provides 1200 feet of SDI coverage.

When it comes to budget-friendly wireless video, Accsoon, Hollyland, smallHD, and Teradek are major players that come to mind. Accsoon has updated its options for filmmakers with the new one CineEye 2S Pro wireless system. The “S” moniker suggests support for SDI and HDMI functions while the CineEye 2 Pro only supports HDMI.

Other than that, what’s going on under the hood is practically identical to the CineEye 2 Pro.

The CineEye 2S Pro Accsoon’s Gemini two-channel 5.8 GHz and 2.4 GHz transmission system provides wireless video coverage of up to 350 m (1200 feet) and automatically selects the best channel with the least amount of interference. The video signal is transmitted up to 1080p 60p with a very minimal latency of 60 ms. The broadcaster can also change the bit rate and video quality of the signal to get the best connection when conditions are not optimal.

Other functions of CineEye 2S Pro You can also stream directly to YouTube using the Accsoon Go iOS app. You can also use the same app to turn any iOS or Android phone or tablet into a full-featured monitor that includes features such as false colors, waveforms, histograms, and zebra, among other things. This is a great feature, especially if you share the feed with multiple people in the camera and lighting department.

Users can also load custom LUTs or CDLs for preview on iOS or Android devices. It also supports 1.25x, 1.33x, 1.5x, 1.78x, and 2x relaxation options anamorphic lenses, masks for different aspect ratios, and presets for different camera protocol types.

The transmitter and receiver can be operated with NP-F550 / 750/970 batteries or a DC input (7.4 V – 16.8 V). The power options are hot-swappable so there is no slowdown on set.

Better still, Accsoon was able to keep the price of the transmitter and receiver set at $ 599. So when you are in the market there is no reason for us to buy this CineEye 2 Pro when you can get both SDI and HDMI functionality in one device for the same price.
