Last night was a star-studded adventure at the 66th Filmfare Awards 2021 with Irrfan Khan and Taapsee Pannu taking home the Best Actor and Actress awards. The late actor’s son Babil received his father’s award on his behalf and has now posted a new story on Instagram criticizing reporters who asked him if he was high last night.
Babil is very active on Instagram and often shares photos and videos in memory of his late father.
Irrfan Khan’s son shared a long note in his Instagram Story taking a jibe at the reporter attending the 66th Filmfare Awards 2021 and wrote: “Just wanted to share with you that I attended the Filmfare Awards yesterday and 7 reporters. asked me if I was high. just because of the shape of my eyes. well played guys. great curious research that you have done because I am purely natural since I left college. really good job. you made me feel so good by telling me that my natural face looked like it was stoned. thank you very much for that. I will use this look and make millions in bollywood. “
Meanwhile, Babil attended the award ceremony to accept his late father’s awards. Irrfan Khan won two trophies, Best Actor in a Leading Role for his film Angrezi Medium and a Lifetime Achievement Award.
Ayushmann Khurrana also took to his Instagram account and congratulated the late actor Irrfan Khan on the achievement and enjoyed meeting Babil last night.
The Bala actor shared a beautiful message congratulating Irrfan Khan which read: “It’s somewhere in Bandra. But he is resting somewhere in peace. Celebrating his double victory. Forever Irfan! Best Actor (Male) and Lifetime Achievement Award! I had the honor to present this award @filmfare to @ babil.ik I met this beautiful boy for the first time.
